Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats
Welcome to Island View Farm - Farmington, Utah
Back to Basics!
For seven years we have maintained one of the finest Nigerian Dwarf dairy goat herds in the Intermountain West,
established with high-quality, Rosasharn-based stock from the Sandy
Hollow herd in Rupert, Idaho, and bred for show and dairy quality
whole herd tested negative for CAE in December of 2010, with all random
TB and Brucellosis tests also coming back negative. In addition, we
have never had a case of CL or Johnnes.
have shown our herd consistently in the Davis County (Utah) 4-H
program, the Utah Dairy Goat Association and at the Utah State Fair. Linear Appraisal was performed
on all mature does, including dry yearlings, in 2011.
With our chief showman and goat milker heading to college next year, we made the difficult decision to liquidate our herd of ADGA registered Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats.
Our herd liquidation is complete. Thank you to all our friends, both old and new, who purchased animals from our herd.
We have retained three select does and one buck just because we can't bear to have the farm without them. We will have a limited number of ADGA Registered Nigerian Dwarf goat kids for sale in April 2012.
We would love to talk with you. Give us a call or send us an email. Or if you ever find yourself in Farmington, Utah, come by and pay us a visit.
